Among major platforms of wireless networking, ZigBee is the only open global standard targeted at the wide IoT arena at 2.4GHz band featuring low power, low data transfer rate and interoperability. Organised by HKSTP and the ZigBee Alliance, ZigBee Alliance Open Global IoT Forum have invited President & CEO of ZigBee Alliance Tobin Richardson who will present the Alliance’s efforts to develop and promote world-leading device-to-device wireless sensor and control networking standards. Furthermore, Cees Links, CEO of Qorvo, also well-known as the Father of WIFI, and being a pioneer of the wireless data industry will discuss his vision on IoT application and business.  The forum will also have Alliance’s members spanning the value chain of the IoT industry to talk on key topics, from components supplier CEL, silicon solutions designer such as Silicon Laboratories, information technology platform giants like Huawei and Alibaba, to application developers The Kroger Co and Philips Lighting for example.
